Calling all brides!

Bustling is the transformation of your wedding dress to make it more functional without the train. This is necessary so that you have comfort and ease moving through your reception. Typically this would take place after your ceremony and ceremony photos. But first there are a few things you need to know!

First find the perfect dress for your special day! Once you do this you will take the gown to your seamstress of choice to add the addition of the bustle to your dress. This is something to add into and consider for your wedding dress budget! Make sure that they show you exactly how to bustle it once you go in for your fitting. Although, if this step is overlooked there is no need to stress. Typically, bustling placement falls under three gown designs, French style, American style and Bow style making it easy to figure out how to bustle with a little research.

Now that you know how to make sure the bustle is in place, it is important to assign someone to the task of bustling. This could be a mother-of-the-bride, a maid-of honor, wedding coordinator or anyone you trust to get the job done! Just be sure as a bride to have someone alongside to assist you, this is not a job you can do alone!
